Film tickets will be just £5 or at a discount of £4 for Movie Magic Cardholders. But wait, there’s more! You can opt instead for The Big Movie Deal ticket option at £6.99 (or £5.99 for MMCs) which includes your ticket to see the film and a £4 voucher to spend on snacks and drinks at the cinema, bar, and restaurant.
These prices will be available from Friday 8th December. Tickets for screenings from Friday 8th December onward go on sale on Tuesday 5th December.
FAQ
Will all films now be at the new prices?
All standard films and classic titles will be included, but there may be exceptions for special events (these will be highlighted). Event Cinema prices also vary.
Will Advance Screenings be at the new prices?
Yes, Advance Screenings are not considered "special events". An example of "special event" might be a one-off screening or a private screening and will be indicated as such.
Will Event Cinema be at the new prices?
No, Event Cinema and special screenings are not included in this new pricing. Ticket prices vary for Event Cinema.
Does this price include booking fees?
No, booking fees are not included.
Are you not doing the special kid's screenings now?
We've changed the name and how it works, but The Mini Movie Deal will continue to be available as often as we can squeeze them in. For £3.99 you get a ticket, popcorn and drink, but you can still opt for the £2.50 ticket-only option.
Can I use these prices in conjunction with Meerkat Movies or another promotional code I have?
Yes, those offers are not affected, you'll just pay less for any tickets you are paying for.
Can I book in advance?
Yes, as soon as tickets are on sale then you can book at the new prices which apply from 8th December onwards.
How does this effect my Movie Magic discount card?
Any existsing Movie Magic cardholders will start benefitting from even lower prices. Your exclusive discount on film is £1 off the standard ticket price 7 days a week. You will be paying less than you have been previously. And when you renew it will be at the cheaper price and you still get a free ticket when you do that. You will also benefit from exclusive discounts on Event Cinema tickets, prices vary, and 10% discount in our bars and restaurants.
What about Magic Monday?
You're getting the best possible price 7 days a week, not just on a Monday! Magic Monday 2 for 1 offer won't be available at this cinema after the 5th December 2023.
Is there a new Movie Meal Deal price as well?
Yes, if you're having a Movie & Meal Deal the price will drop from £16.95 to £13.95 which can be discounted further for Movie Magic Cardholders. Children's Meal Deals will be charged at £10 or less with a Movie Magic Card.
Which cinemas will this offer available at?
This is available at your Merlin Cinema in Torquay from Friday 8th December.
